Magnum Cafe, Mid Valley

My wanderings about in search for something to satisfy my sweet tooth ended when I decided to visit the new kid on the block, MAGNUM CAFE!

I've been reading alot about this place and as a Magnum fan, I just couldn't resist!

I was there around 12.30pm, and there was no line yet, but there was no place to sit. Since I was there with another person, the staff suggested that 1 person lined up and ordered while the other person hover about until someone decides to get up. The menu and dining area is split into 2 floors, if you decide to have the dessert menu, you would need to head upstairs, but don't be afraid, they have a second ice cream bar upstairs. If like me, you just want your Magnum, then the first floor is fine.

The interior of the cafe
The topping selection station - you can choose 3

The dipping station. Dark choc, milk choc and white choc!
Its a pity they did not have the salted caramel coat at the dipping station, as that is my favorite! I decided to pick one choice from their menu and make my own one. (yes, I had 2, but #YOLO so who cares!)

I chose 'Cookie Monster' from the menu.
Cookie Monster
It is vanilla ice-cream dipped in dark chocolate, topped with chocolate nuggets, bits of crushed oreos which weren't very crushed as I had pieces of 'quarter' oreos beneath my magnum, and it is drizzled with white chocolate. Not really my favorite, I guess I made the wrong pick, maybe I will go for the goji berry one the next time.

My own Magnum, I call it 'Sham's Indulgence'

Sham's Indulgence
I chose chocolate ice cream, dipped in white chocolate, topped with golden nuggets, chopped pistachios and rose petals, drizzled with dark chocolate. Personally, I thought it looked very pretty! Once you bite into it, the rose petals give a weird texture, but that aside, I loved every last bit of it!

My sinful indulgence of the week
I will DEFINITELY make a second/third/forth visit to this heavenly cafe.
For those of you finding your way there, remember, its on the 3rd floor of Mid Valley, near GSC. Have fun!
I now need to hit the treadmill for awhile..
